KAME Pottery
KAME is the name of a Mayan god who represents rebirth and transformation. This is how we feel about clay and the work we produce.
We are a couple based in Hampshire who produce contemporary, handmade ceramics. Our production is small-scale, resulting in unique, one-off functional and decorative pieces.
We specialise in wheel-thrown and hand-painted creations. Our firing techniques include barrel firing, raku, and electric firing.
Contact us directly for commissions, prices and purchases online. Or come meet us in person – check our events page.
Story
We met while living in France back in 2005, and in 2021, we started our pottery journey. We attended regular classes in Farnham for a couple of years and have since continued to produce ceramics from our home and garden.
We draw inspiration from our cultural heritage and the many places we have visited in Latin America and Asia.
We started to showcase and sell our ceramics in February 2026. We love to meet our customers and regularly attend Farnham Maltings Market (the first Saturday of each month) as well as a range of other in-person events. Check our events page for more information.
Jessica Romo
Jessica is originally from Mexico; she moved to the UK in 2007. She creates imperfect forms (in keeping with wabi-sabi philosophy) and loves spending hours delicately hand-painting pieces.

Jonathan CA
Jonathan was born and raised in England. He specialises in complex, precise forms and is KAME’s technician, leading all kinds of firing techniques.
